The Finance Apprentice batch of year 2016-2019 completed their 3 year programme in January 2019. The certificate awarding ceremony was held on 27th May, 2019 at the JKH auditorium with the participation of President – HR, Legal, Sustainability & ERM, Ms. Dilani Alagaratnam and Group Financial Controller at John Keells Holdings PLC, MR. Mohan Thanthirige . Eight apprentices successfully completed the 3 years programme with most of them joining John Keells Group companies. The Finance apprentice programme of Infomate Private Limited aims to recruit and groom the best accountants and is a highly sought after programme with over 500 applications received every year. The apprentice are taken through a structured 3 year programme inclusive of class room training together with on-the job practical exposure to SAP based accounting. The programme also includes highly valued work assignments in Group tax, treasury, internal audit, Group Finance and a business unit of their choice. Each apprentice is mentored by a sector financial controller of the John Keells Group.
